Madame Architect partnered with Untapped New York to bring to light a series of interviews with the people behind and critical to innovations in infrastructure these days…and that also happen to be women. These specialists are innovating in ways which are often hidden - underground, underwater, or simply so integrated into the cityscape that one doesn't immediately recognize the profound impact of the design behind. What's also important to note is that most people assume that such projects - bridges, tunnels - aren't focused on by women, and the truth couldn't be anything but. We hope, through our partnership, to bring the stories of such women to the surface:
